南北兩極

磁場分為南、北兩極。磁力棒以冷、暖色系區分磁性，冷色系列(白、綠、藍及紫) 為北極，暖色系列(黃、橙、紅及粉紅) 則為南極。

相吸相斥

冷、暖色系的磁力棒彼此異性相吸，而同色系則同性相斥。

金屬球

不同色系磁性的磁力棒皆可吸附金屬球。一個金屬球可與二十多支磁力棒連在一起。

不同磁力

長磁力棒磁性比短磁力棒強，吸附力更大，可吸附更重的東西及製造更強的連接位。讓小朋友組裝時更多變化。
